Whats It Cost To Run Stuff
This is the landing page for our database of how many watts many items use. For us to calculate how much it costs you to run various items, we need to know how much you pay per kilowatt hour.
If you do not know how much you pay per kilowatt hour, then you might want to follow our Determine How Much You Pay For Electricity guide, which will help you figure this out.
The National Average for electricity is 0.10. If you do not want to follow the link above then you can just pick 0.10 for a good guess.
To be clear, if you are following these guides in US Dollars, then 0.10 is ten cents.
For a list of state averages view our List of State Averages for kilowatt hour costs.
